Your to-do list, right on your Lock Screen
See what's next every time you pick up your phone. Tap to check it off — no need to unlock.
Out of sight, out of mind
You pick up your phone dozens of times a day — that's dozens of chances to remember what you meant to do. A to-do list buried inside an app never gets that chance. A list on your Lock Screen does, every single time.
Lock Screen widgets
Two styles live below the clock — and there's a third, single-line style that lives in the date row above the clock. That one isn't in the widget list below the clock; you add it by tapping the date itself (steps below).
Rectangular (below the clock)
Your next few tasks, each with a checkbox. Tap one to complete it — right there, without unlocking.
Circular (below the clock)
A single glanceable number: how many tasks are left today.
Single line (in the date row)
Your next task, right beside the date — one glance every time you wake your phone.
How to add it (30 seconds)
Rectangular or circular
-
Touch and hold your Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
-
Tap Lock Screen, then tap the widget area below the clock.
-
Tap Add Widgets and choose VoiceTodo — rectangular or circular.
Single-line style
-
In the same customization view, tap the date above the clock (not the widget area below it).
-
Choose VoiceTodo — your next task now sits in the date row.
Say it in the morning, see it all day
This is where it clicks: say your plan once when you start the day, and it stays on your Lock Screen until the day is over. Capture once, remember all day.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an iPhone app that lets me check off tasks from the Lock Screen?
Yes — that's the rectangular Lock Screen widget. It shows your next few to-dos with a checkbox on each; tap to complete one without unlocking your iPhone or opening the app.
How do I put my to-do list on my Lock Screen?
Touch and hold your Lock Screen → Customize → Lock Screen, then tap the widget area below the clock → Add Widgets → VoiceTodo (rectangular or circular). For the single-line style, tap the date above the clock instead and choose VoiceTodo there. Full steps above.
Does it show today's tasks only?
It shows what's due today, plus to-dos you haven't given a date yet. Recurring tasks appear on the days they come due, and items you just completed stay visible briefly before dropping off.
Can I add tasks from the Lock Screen?
Not by typing on the Lock Screen — but you can add without opening the app: use Siri (“Add todo in VoiceTodo”) or the Action Button on supported iPhones to record hands-free.
Stop typing your to-do list.
Say it once. See it all day.
